Things
we know and things
WE THINK we know about
Lupo Cambridge
|
- My name is
Lupo. You can call me HRH
Prince Lupo Cambridge
to show me some respect. I am after all the firstborn
fur-child of The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, future king and
queen of England.
- I am a black,
male cocker spaniel.
Not a labrador. A spaniel! Can't you see
I've long ears?
- I joined the
royal family shortly before Christmas
2011 when Pappy Wills & Mummy Kate adopted me from a "litter
they know." Word has it that they fell in love with me
instantly. But of course they did!
- I am not a replacement for Widgeon.
I am not!!!
- My name is
Italian for "wolf."
No particular
reason. They just liked the name.
- Mummy Kate
revealed my name to the world on February
21, 2012 in
Oxford. How can she not when they were going to name a stuff
toy after me!
- I have many
homes. One in Anglesey.
One small
one in Kensington Palace.
But in 2013 I'm moving into larger apartments and will surely get to
pick my own pen. Thinking I'll take one in the top floor.
- I travel a
lot too. Stay in Bucklebury
sometimes
to visit my Middleton clan - love Granny Carole's cooking. And
there are lots
of party treats to steal when no one's looking.
- Oh
and there are other places in Balmoral
and Norfolk
that I go to.
My habitat is oh so seasonal. Can't wait for
hunting season. Such partridges and snappers to run
after.

First ever pictures of the little me
Look! I'm growing! Strolling around
Kensington Gardens here
My first magazine cover. Hah! |
- I love my walks along the beach or
around Kensington Gardens
with my
humans.
Unleashed! Watch out, paparazzi!
- I need royal
protection officers too!
Photographers and journalists have been hounding (pun
intended) me since I joined the royal family. For some time,
they were after my name! Madness!
- My favourite
treats are Duchy
Originals buscuits
c/o Grandpa Charlie. But I get a lot of extras every time
Mummy
Kate comes back from work. From people lining the streets to
fancy shops like Fortnum & Mason. People love feeding
me!
- My playmate
when in London - Beth
the Jack Russell, though I have to go to Clarence House to
find her.
- It's a wild
doghouse when I'm in Balmoral
with the
corgis and the dorgis. Linnet, Monty, Willow and Vulcan, to
name a few. There's too many of them and it gets rowdy around
the great granny Lizzy. But at least we get fresh meat
everyday.
- All these
pooches are smaller than me. No
doubt I'll grow up to be king indeed. Except when in
Bucklebury and faced with that old yellow lab.
- I'm
keeping Mummy Kate company as Pappy flies choppers in the Falklands.
I hope he does not bring a pet pengiun home. I
cannot stand
birds.
